This 6 month old male Shar Pei was referred to NCVS. On ophthalmic examination it was virtually blind as a consequence of the abnormal lid anatomy and secondary corneal ulceration. Post-op care involved the administration of topical antibiotics, oral antibiotics and NSAID’s and an Elizabethan collar. The second photograph shows the same case 2 weeks following ‘Browsling’ and lid shortening surgery. He almost appears to be smiling in this photo!
