Whilst a general practitioner he developed an interest in ophthalmology and formed Anivision Ltd. This referral service grew quickly and in 2004 Dr Clare became a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate holder in Veterinary Ophthalmology. In May 2005 he re-established ophthalmology at Liverpool University: Dr Clare accepted referrals and became responsible for practical tuition for clinical veterinary undergraduates. In recognition of Dr Clare’s efforts he was acknowledged as a ‘teacher’ by the University in 2006.
In 2009 Dr Clare immigrated to Australia with his lovely wife and 3 children. He quickly established PetVision and happily accepts referrals from local and regions veterinarian. Dr Clare consults and operates from the NCVS premises and delights in educating clients, vets and nurses alike on all conditions and care of the eye. In his spare time Dr Clare can be found running around after his athletic children. He not only coaches, but participates in most of their sports which include surf lifesaving, triathlons and horseback riding and eventing.
