Dr Monique qualified as a vet from Onderstepoort, South Africa in 2015 and then went on to do a year of compulsory community service in beautiful Cape Town where she managed a busy animal shelter and did some work in the public health sector.
In 2016 she went back to the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital to complete a one-year rotating internship and then jumped straight into a residency in small animal medicine. Monique completed both her South African and European certifying exams in 2022 and is now a diplomat of the European college of Small Animal Internal Medicine. Monique then spent some time in a busy referral practice in Johannesburg before moving to the Sunshine Coast at the end of 2023.
Monique enjoys working with clients and the challenges that medicine cases bring with them! When not at work she can be found spending time with family and friends or at the beach.
