Microsurgery and magnification with an operating

microscope was used to resect the abnormal

hairy areas and the lid was reconstructed

with a split-lid sliding autograft.

Finally a third eyelid flap was used to

protect the cornea.

The end result shows the cornea and

sclera minus their dermoids and the

lower lid has a normally appearing lid margin.
