I have always had a love for animals since I was a little girl. I grew up on the outskirts of a small mining town in Far North Queensland, where I spent my days surrounded by our dogs, cats, horses, chickens, cattle, and a pet Galah named Shrek. It was inevitable that I was going to continue being surrounded by animals, so I took the first step by applying at North Coast Veterinary Specialists as a Kennel Hand. I have now been in the Veterinary industry for 7 years and have worked my way up through the different departments. I am now Nurse Co-Ordinator of the ward department.
I have Ollie who is a 2-year-old Border Collie with my partner, and we spend our free time going away on weekend adventures or sitting down at the beach with our coffees as a little family of three. I also have two 13-year-old oldies who still live with my parents – Zeus who is a Boxer and Milo who is a chonky Ginger Cat. It is currently my dream to get back out on acreage to be surrounded by all the animals I had growing up and to convince my partner to get a Boxer puppy.
