Growing up on a farm in Tasmania, Dr Sarah, our Medicine Intern, has always been surrounded by animals and wanted to be a vet. Following her passion, Sarah graduated from Charles Sturt Univerisity in 2015 and first started in mixed practice. Sarah moved to England for two years, where she worked and travelled. After returning home from England, Sarah moved to Perth, where she did an internship at Murdoch University and also did a Diploma of Education. During her time in Perth, Sarah went back to working in general practice.
Dr Sarah moved from Perth to the Sunshine Coast for family and started coming into the clinic, where she met the team and got to know everyone. Dr Sarah is proud to be part of the North Coast Veterinary Specialist and Referral Centre (NCVS). Sarah finds working at NCVS rewarding, being able to help pets and clients as well, especially during challenging times and always tries to get the answers they need and help them throughout complex cases.
Dr Sarah has two dogs, her ten-year-old kelpie and a two-year-old very cheeky border collie, and two cats that rule the house.
